Class 5

Welcome to the Year 5 Class Page! We are a happy, hard-working class of 26 pupils with 11 girls and 15 boys. 

We have adopted the motto this year: 

 If you believe in yourself, anything is possible!

We have enjoyed our mark-making weeks and are looking forward to visiting the Bath Children's Literature Festival to hear Frank Cottrell-Boyce, The Uk Children's Laureate, speaking about his book! We will also soon be studying Aretha Franklin as part of our Black History Month activities - I wonder what you know about her childhood?

Among our other exciting opportunities this year are the Christmas Play, our Dance Festival and World Book Day, to name just a few!

With the help of Mrs Whitehouse, Mrs Weber and our teaching assistants, Mrs Miles, Miss Parker and Mrs Licata (and each other!) we will be practising all the skills we have learned so far in school, acquiring new ones, and are looking forward to working hard and helping everyone achieve their goals and dreams.
