Remembrance 2023

This morning we held a special Remembrance service in the hall with the whole community of the school. War poetry was read by children in Year 6, we sang, ‘Abide with me’ and we held two minutes of silence after presenting our poppy wreaths which each class had made. It was a very moving service and a fitting tribute on this commemoration of Armistice day. We discussed how we can make a positive difference to our world now and uphold the important values we all share. We also listened to some reflective music. The children were a credit to the school, from Reception to Year 6!
