School Artefacts

You may have noticed that we have a new cabinet in the corridor in which are displayed some of the old school log books and a punishment book from the mid 19th and early 20th centuries. I have been sharing some of the entries with the children. I’m sure you can imagine how the ‘Punishment book’ has been a great source of fascination for some. It is interesting to see how the misdemeanours of the past are just as relevant today, such as attendance and punctuality! Mercifully, the cane is no longer in action! Do come and look at the books; they are so interesting to see evidence of our Victorian School.
