Values Book Boxes

We are delighted to announce the creation of a set of Values Book Boxes!

To support the development of our children’s understanding of ‘British Values’ - Democracy, The Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance and Individual Liberty - we have created a book box, for each class.  The boxes contain a range of books which help to teach about the British values through high quality fiction (both modern and ‘classic’) as well as a range of non-fiction texts.  As a collection, the books share and celebrate the narratives of children and adults who have made a positive difference to their communities and the wider world.  The boxes will be rotated around the classes, so that children can enjoy the range of texts on offer.
