PTA
At Wrington Church of England Primary School, we have a thriving Parent Teachers Association (PTA) which is well supported by parents and teachers alike. The primary purpose of the PTA is to raise additional funds for school facilities or equipment but a great deal of fun is generated in the process! Over the years, the PTA has helped provide furniture for our new library, PE equipment, welly racks, chess lessons, a climbing wall, computers and software, play equipment and books. The PTA is like a fourth emergency service and we are very grateful to them!
PTA events run throughout the year. All parents are automatically members of the PTA, but we are always hoping to find new committee members or willing volunteers to help at the various events. Please don’t wait to be asked if you are interested in getting involved – contact the School Administrator or a member of the committee.

- Annual fireworks display
- Village Fun Run
- Plant Sale
- Christmas trees for classes
- Children’s discos
- Children's film afternoon
- Quiz
- Christmas and summer fairs
- Refreshments for Book at Bedtime Story afternoon
- Christmas Tree selling
- Sports day refreshments
- Supporting the costs of trips
Being part of the PTA is a great way to make friends and support the school.
