School Meals

Hot and cold meals available

Aspens is our school meal provider and they sell both hot and cold meals which are prepared and cooked on site in our kitchen. Alternatively children may bring a packed lunch.

How do I order a lunch for my child?

Meals should be ordered and paid for in advance via the Select ordering system (see link below). We would encourage parents to book and pay for school meals on a monthly, weekly or termly basis, but we do understand that this is not always convenient, so ordering and paying on a daily basis is also available. Meals need to be ordered via Select by 8.30am each day.

Universal Infant School Meals

All children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a free school lunch which is provided by the school. These meals do still need to be ordered via Select.

It is important that, if your circumstances are such that your child qualifies for free school meals (see below) that you still apply (even though your child will still receive a free meal due to being in Reception or Key Stage 1) as this will entitle the school to claim additional government funding to benefit your child.

Free School Meals

If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals please contact the school office. This is very important as, even if you do not wish to take up the school meal entitlement, the school receives significant funding for any child who has received free school meals over the last six years. This can provide additional tuition or special activities for your child, support uniform costs or pay for trips and visits. It is of great benefit to your child and very valuable to the school. All information regarding free school meals is treated in the strictest confidence.
